Chris
Rix is the founder of Champion Training Academy.
Coach Rix is a husband, father, coach, sportscaster, educator, and
motivator.
Chris excelled in varsity football, baseball and basketball at Bishop
Amat Memorial High School as well as Santa Margarita Catholic High
School. In high school, Chris received All-American
honors and was named the Nike Camp MVP in Los Angeles.
Chris was also part of the inaugural Elite 11
QB Camp, selected as one of the Top 11
High School Quarterbacks in the nation. Following his senior season,
Chris was selected to Team California where as
a captain he started at quarterback and helped lead California to
a victory over Florida in CaliFlorida Bowl 1
at The Rose Bowl.
Chris
went on to receive a full scholarship to Florida State University
where he earned All-American honors as a freshman and became
the first four-year starter at
quarterback in the Bobby Bowden era. Despite missing
nearly his entire senior season due to a severe ankle injury, Chris
ranks second in FSU history in passing yardage,
attempts, completions and touchdowns thrown. Chris also graduated
from FSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree studying Sociology
and Communications. Following his college career
which included 3
ACC titles and 4
straight bowl appearances, Chris went on to the NFL
where the San Diego Chargers invited Chris to training
camp. After his time in San Diego, Chris followed
his heart and started his careers in both broadcasting and
business.
As a sportscaster, Chris Rix is a national college
football analyst and radio host for Fox Sports. His resume includes
serving as a High School, College and Pro
Football analyst and color commentator. Chris has worked
with major network affiliates including FSN, FOX, FSR, CSTV
and ABC.
Coach
Rix shares what fulfills him the most in life being his calling
to ministry through sports, business and education. Chris is an
active member with the Coaches of Influence©
(COIN) and he and his wife are also
both teachers. Chris is licensed by the California Commission on
Teacher Credentialing.
Together,
they feel the calling and responsibility to help encourage and impact
the next generation of young men and women leaders to seek out and
fulfill their Destiny.


Coach
Rix currently resides in Diamond Bar, CA with his lovely wife Anita,
their son Luke and their
puppies Noel and Champ Ian.
